Quizás una de las tendencias mas en boga y mas actual del postmodernismo sea el denominado arte callejero que engloba todo arte desarrollado en la calle, normalmente de forma ilegal, y dentro del cual habría que citar manifestaciones como el grafiti y otras acciones artísticas callejeras que se sirven de otro tipo de recursos técnicos como plantillas, carteles, pegatinas o mosaicos, que presentan códigos diferentes y que se han dado en llamar posgrafiti .
